Play is an integral part of our theme-based, teacher-lead program. Our curriculum is child centered and developmentally appropriate. We emphasize hands on, play based learning throughout the classrooms. We encourage growth, as children are free to explore a variety of creative experiences through art, science, dramatic play, and music. As they use their imagination, language skills are encouraged through play, stories, songs and finger play, sharing and discussions. Reading readiness is developed through activities such as rhyming, singing, reading stories, and retelling stories. Small motor skills are strengthened by using art materials, puzzles, play dough, building blocks, and easel painting/drawing. Beginning math and science concepts are learned with block play, counting, calendar, and sorting. Outdoor play with climbing equipment, riding toys, as well as indoor play room, encourages large motor skills.

Our preschool program emphasizes the development of the total child, including the emotional, social, spiritual, physical and intellectual growth of each child. A play environment is provided to stimulate the child’s curiosity, awareness of self, and encourage social interaction with other children and adults.
We encourage children to be actively involved in the learning process, to experience a variety of skills, with emphasis on nurturing positive self-image and positive attitude toward learning. Play is a child’s work. Play provides opportunities for children to discover new things. It is a way they can explore and learn about the world around them.
We strongly encourage Christian values in our daily learning. Each Wednesday the children participate in a Chapel lesson lead by our director. Anyone who feels lead to join us during this time is welcome! A Daily devotional is read to the children to promote Bible awareness, and we also incorporate a monthly Bible Verse, and Blessing in our lesson plan to create spiritual growth.
